1.Introduction 

Appropriate Technology India (AT India), an Indian NGO registered under the Societies Act 1860 has been working in Uttarakhand since 1994 with dual objectives of biodiversity conservation and economic development. These objectives can be achieved only when the local communities secure economic and managerial control over their natural resources and have access to necessary information technical and financial. support. This incentive motivates them to work actively toward the long-term conservation of these resources This premise continues to inform AT India's strategy to assist village communities in Uttarakhand towards conserving their natural resources and biodiversity while developing economic opportunities through enterprise utilizing natural resources (natural resources-based products and NTFP) in an equitable. economically and environmentally sustainable manner. 

2. Scope of Work

 List of Items Required

The selected supplier shall be responsible for the following:

• Supplying high-quality beekeeping equipment as per the list and quantities specified.
• Ensuring all supplied items are new, defect-free, and conform to standard quality specifications.
• Delivering all materials to the designated project site(s) within the stipulated timeframe.
• Providing valid tax invoices and warranty certificates (where applicable).
• Coordinating with ATI’s project team for inspection and verification upon delivery.
• Noting that the indicated quantities may increase as per project requirements.
• Understanding that the supply is intended for multiple projects and multiple operational areas.

3. Evaluation Criteria

Quotations will be evaluated based on the following parameters:

4. Eligibility Criteria

Bidders must meet the following minimum eligibility requirements:

1. The bidder must be a registered entity (proprietorship, partnership, firm, or company).
2. Must have at least 2 years of experience in supplying beekeeping or agricultural equipment.
3. Must possess a valid GST registration number and PAN.
4. Should not have been blacklisted by any government agency or NGO.
5. Preference will be given to suppliers with prior experience in NGO or CSR projects.

6. Documents to be Submitted

Interested suppliers are required to submit the following documents along with the quotation:

1. Copy of Firm Registration Certificate / Trade License.
2. Copy of PAN and GST Registration Certificate.
3. Previous supply order(s) or work completion certificates.
4. Quotation with detailed price breakup (including GST).
5. Bank details for payment (on firm letterhead).
6. Product specifications / brochure (if applicable).

7. Terms and Conditions

• Balance payment after receipt and verification of materials.
• Delivery Period: Within 2–3 weeks from receipt of Purchase Order.
• Freight: To be charged as actuals.
• Taxes: All applicable GST must be mentioned clearly in the quotation.
• Warranty: Standard manufacturer warranty to be provided (if applicable).
• Quotation Validity: Minimum 1year from date of RFQ.
• Inspection: Materials are subject to inspection and acceptance by ATI.
• Rejection: Any item found defective or not meeting specifications shall be replaced at supplier’s cost.
